Cone chair replica

$400.00

Cone Chair is designed by Verner Panton for Vitra in 1958 with seat shell in glass fibre reinforced plastic laminate, lightly padded with polyurethane foam and cover with fabric.

Stainless steel cruciform swivel base, satin finish, with plastic glides.

Also available the matching Cone Stool, an ideal companion as a stool or ottoman.

Originally designed for a Danish restaurant, the Cone Chair takes its shape from the classic geometric figure for which it is named.

The cone-shaped seat is mounted at its point on a stainless steel swivel base. A semi-circular padded shell extends upward to form the back and armrests, thereby creating a very comfortable armchair.

The design career of Verner Panton reached its first peak toward the end of the 1950s. With a furniture series based on simple geometric shapes, Panton anticipated elements of Pop Art, while also emulating the elegance of Scandinavian Modernism in the execution of the bases. The most famous designs from this series are the Cone Chair and the Heart Cone Chair. Art Lab offers a high quality reproduction of this unique & iconic chair.

Dimensions: 42w*71d*91h

Material: fiberglass & cashmere, stainless steel
